LEAD AUDITOR ERM Certification and Verification Services (ERM CVS) is a global provider of independent third party certification, verification and assurance services. We are looking for an enthusiastic Lead Auditor to join our growing certification team, working on the assessment of quality, environmental, energy, health & safety management systems. Applying candidate should be open to further develop in assessing sustainability and social management systems as well as providing assurance services for sustainability reports.

ERM CVS, is part of ERM Group with offices in 40 countries and around 5,000 sustainability professionals, ERM is dedicated to providing its clients with a quality, value added service. Our Central European certification team is located in Frankfurt with our Headquarter in London. We are supported by the wider ERM Group network, and often use local verification staff drawn from ERM regional offices.

Local Unit & Position Description

As a result of further growth, we are looking for approved 3rd party Auditors or qualified applicants to be based in in the UK or Central Europe,

  • Qualified to go offshore – BOSIET Certificate (We are willing to train applicants; however, candidates would need to undergo a fitness to train medical)
  • Experience with UK Emission Trading Scheme
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
  • Experience in auditing (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001)
  • Deep knowledge of management systems (e.g. as internal auditor, management system representative, consultant)
  • Willingness to travel
  • Willingness to enhance auditor qualification for other schemes
  • Driving license

You will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Lead and carry out certification audits at customer sites
  • Project management for national customers
  • Client Account Management including regular communication with the client, planning of assessment campaigns, leading assessment teams, customer support, management and development
  • Enhancement of customer basis

Position QualificationsYou have the following skills and experiences:

  • Degree in Science or Engineering or comparable qualification
  • Relevant professional experience in one of the above mentioned sectors
  • Profound knowledge of management systems (e.g. as internal auditor, management system representative, consultant)
  • Good analytical skills and specialized know-how of relevant methods
  • Very good communication skills
  • High social competence and ability to work in a team
  • Willingness to travel
  • Willingness to enhance auditor qualification for other schemes
  • Driving license
  • Fluent in German and English language, a third language from an Eastern European Country would be beneficial
