Excited to be London bound again today to host the Microsoft FSI team with the wider UKI Nerdio squad.. after what was a hugely productive day with team boxxe yesterday in York. Clare Charteris was smashing it up again, delivering a comprehensive state of the nation for EUC and absolutely nailing the why Azure Virtual Desktop and why Nerdio for lots of enthusiastic sellers, and last but not least, talking all about the hugely exiting launch of Microsoft's Multi Party private offers for UKI customers! (MPO) I absolutely thrive off spending time face to face with our strategic channel partners and also our complimentary ecosystem partners too. Microsoft, Liquit part of Recast Software, ControlUp & Camwood. Always a pleasure! 😍 The shift we are seeing right now is monumental in EUC and we are all right in the thick of it, change is scary, but also 100% necessary to improve productivity, transform and future proof organisations. Microsoft Azure is the safe bet right now in what can only be described as a perfect storm, so if you want to know more about how Nerdio can help you to transition your DaaS workloads to Azure Virtual Desktop, how you can upgrade your OS from Windows 10 to Windows 11 without the need for expensive hardware refreshes, or how you can manage your visibility, compliance and auditing of your Intune managed endpoints, all in same single pane of glass, doing so much more with less... drop me a message! 🤩 Matt, Ruta, Tim, Pav, Rheanne, Fraser, Tom, George, Lauren, Verity, Malcolm, Michelle, Ben, Keith, James, Lindell, Gareth, Ankar, Kiren, James, Joanna, Jeremy, Robert Tom, Gavin, Mike Eleri Darren, Damian, Larry.

Would you like to learn about deploying Metric Alerts for Virtual Machines and App Services at scale? 🚀 Upcoming video where I'll demonstrate how to accomplish this using Azure Policy 🛡️Not only that will it allow you to remediate any resources without alerts, but it will also give you the ability to customize the alerts for each resource without complex queries and give you a good insight to whats happening across your environment 📊 These policies offer greater flexibility than KQL query alerts and are much more efficient. With these policies, you can easily deploy Metric Alerts for memory and CPU with custom thresholds. This ensures that every new Virtual Machine and App Service Plan deployment is consistently monitored, with alerts configured as a standard practice. 🖥️

Private Link for Azure Virtual Desktop allows users to establish secure connections to remote resources by using private endpoints. With Private Link, the traffic between your virtual network and the Azure Virtual Desktop service is routed through the highly secure Microsoft "backbone" network.

Just got off the calls with some confused customers asking about AVD classic vs. AVD, after this post " https://lnkd.in/eimRX-tb " and let me tell you, it's like choosing between Windows versions in a parallel universe! 😅Here's the scoop: AVD classic is like the OG, running on its own little isolated pod of infrastructure. But, Microsoft's giving it the retirement party treatment because it's not cozy enough with Azure. Classic's got to make room for the new kid in town – AVD, powered by ARM (not the gym kind, but Azure Resource Manager). 🦾And just to keep things spicy, remember when AVD was called Windows Virtual Desktop? Yeah, Microsoft played the name game, but we're all on the same team now! 🔄🎮Now, if you're vibing with Windows 365 Cloud PCs, that's cool too. They're like AVD's rebellious cousin – runs on AVD but struts to its own fixed-price beat. It's like the cool kid in school who does things their way. 😎The good news? Microsoft's making the switch easy-peasy. You can automate the jump from AVD classic to AVD faster than you can say "Windows for Arm" five times. i will try to build aritle about it .Mark your calendars, though! September 30, 2026, is the day AVD classic officially signs off :) . Microsoft's streamlining, simplifying, and probably doing a little dance because, you know, one AVD to rule them all. 🕺Oh, and if you're wondering why AVD classic got the boot, it's like that messy breakup where one person just needs more space – in this case, it's for simplified infrastructure. P.S. Need a soundtrack for your AVD journey? Check out this playlist I curated – it's like the beats for your migration feat! 🎵🔗https://lnkd.in/e8HFJB4K #AVD #TechTalk #MicrosoftMagic

𝗙𝗦𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘅 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗲Starting with service release 2310, all FSLogix settings are now natively supported by the Intune Settings Catalog. This means these settings are fully compatible to be used for configuration with Azure Virtual Desktop, a combination that is quite common.
