I waited in drive thru over 25 mins,I was happy to wait my turn. Got to the window to pay and Was charged 5 times for the same order last night after the kid at the drive thru said the receipt paper went out.When I called the store manager this morning she said she can only refund 4 charges for the inconvenience but not the 5th because that was the original charge. The mistake wasn’t MY fault and now I have to take time out of my day to go down there and get it fixed. UNREAL!
My wife and I went to our local DQ in Lake Wales Florida. Waited patiently in a slow moving line and place our order for two medium Blizzards and was told to pull to the window. After pulling to the window was finally greeted by a young lady who told us one of the Blizzard order wasn’t available and when I was about to ask why I was just being told that, was told they could do both Blizzards as order and it would be 11.54 , gave her $12.00 and was told I needed to give her $0.54 more and I explain no that she owe me 0.46 in change. Finally the Blizzards were brought to the window and I asked that is a Medium Blizzard and was told No it’s a Mini. Show her my receipt and then was told to pull to the stop sign that they would have to remake the one that was wrong. After twenty five minutes I called the number on the receipt and asked for the manager. I was told no manager on duty and he was in charge tonight. Explain we were still at the stop sign waiting for the Medium Blizzard that was made as a Mini. States he would start making it now. Told him to forget it and just refund me for one medium Blizzard that we didn’t get, he asked how much is it , I told him $5.39 plus taxes. 32 minutes later I received $5.39 ! Question who own this DQ? Who is the manager? This is how we run a business and treat customer??
Ordered chicken fingers and gravy meal with onion rings! No gravy and got French fries! Called and the person was more concerned about how I ordered it! Then correcting the problem kept asking if I had a recipe! Why would I lie! I went there for the chicken and gravy!
The flavors of the month are fantastic! Try the raspberry fudge or the brownie batter! The customer service is great attitude wise but, horrible every other way. We went into the drive thru line and we were there for about 15 minutes or more. I had ordered 2 slushies and a brownie batter blizzard all smalls. One of the slushies wasnt full at all and the other was overflowing. It was cherry flavor so all that red dye spilled in my car. The cups werent wiped off and there was obvious slushie on top of the lid. No napkins were given, I had to ask. I would much rather pay a little more and go to Culvers or just somewhere else. Management needs to step up their game.
I ask for a medium Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough blizzard and fries and I end up getting a sprit and a small faux crunch bar Blizzard with DQ stamped in it. I certainly didnt get what I paid for and sadly this isnt the first time its happened in the drive thru. Unless your placing your order inside, expect high school shenanigans to be happening in the back and over the speaker cause the orders arent always successful. My suggestion is simply to take your time at the window and focus.
Manager forced us to show her all the ice cream in the car as she believed we were given our entire order and were lying about one of our items. The rest of the staff was nice. Been here multiple times and the drive thru sign has been broken with no lights for quite some time
The product was great - we arrived at about 30 minutes before closing time. There were four employees - one was obviously ready to go because he was cleaning the machines and sweeping the floors. No worries - the problem I had was that NONE of the employees had in gloves or hair nets - even the young lady taking the money - she would also prepare orders... They were all clearly upset when 3 or 4 more people walked in at about 950. The ice cream was a great treat - thankfully I didnt find any hair in my blizzard... Lol!
I just cane here and ordered a slushy for my 2.5 year old. Waited for almost 15 min for hen a difffeent girl says to me “ you can either get. A mini blizzard or a sundae”. I said huh she said cause we can’t get you your slushy. So insensitive and not compassionate. Got a sundae that my daughter hated tossed it and walked out. She saw my daughter not eat and said thank you have a great day. Worst service ever.
The place is good and comfortable. the big problem is, they put too much salt on french fries, never deliver the complete order always missing something for example the soft drinks do not bring them all always you have to go to the front to tell them to give you the drink that is missing or the food. also sometimes you arrive. to the store and they take a long time to take the order because they are in the back talking and laughing. If you do not notify them that you arrived they do not take care of you. They also make many mistakes with the orders, for example if I ask for a hamburger without pickles or onions they always put it on. They do not worry if the customer is satisfied or not. I was a very frequent customer in that store since it is the only dairy store that is in this city. Now I will not go back. there is no professionalism
Went through the drive-thru to order and I sat at the speaker for a good 10 minutes and nobody ever answered so I had to repeatedly say Hello to the speaker for about 5 minutes until someone finally answered. The inside was completely empty and no one was in front of me in the drive-thru so there was no excuse as to why nobody was able to give service. Once I ordered and got to the window the service was extremely slow! I understand the whole ice cream process takes a little longer to work up but good Lord it took 20 minutes for them to even give the first ice cream from the order.
The place looked clean and the staff was very friendly, but the food was garbage. To tell you how bad it was, you could hear the man microwave the fries. They were limper, greasier, and more disgusting than McDonalds fries which says a lot. Even the burger was terrible since it wasnt nearly as warm as it should be, it was room temp at best. I didnt try the ice cream though so hopefully thats better than the food.
Paige and Claudia hit another one out of the park. A while back I had to make my son an emoji birthday cake. I was blown away! Now my sons girlfriend needed a cake. We needed a Mrs. Potato Head cake. These two, plus the entire staff that we dealt with were so helpful, accommodating, friendly and professional, we would not hesitate going back again. Ladies, you two outdid yourself with this one! Thank you very much. A review was also sent to corporate on your behalf. Lake Wales Dairy Queen rocks!
Came in with family no one greeted us. The girls was going back & forth never said one moment . Kept looking at us. The place was dirty food was everywhere. Tables werent clean. To many people and not enough employees. Customer service is a huge in fast food. Walked out.
Dairy Queen on Hwy 27 have the BEST STAFF....I have went there different times and they all have great customer service. The food is great. My favorites are slaw dogs, chicken fingers, onion rings, chicken blt, bacon cheeseburger, banana split blizzard, snikerdoodle, dipped strawberry, oreo and pineapple blizzard. I take my grand kids all the time...prices are great. Thank you Dairy Queen
Went through the drive through and worst service ever! I ordered $23 worth of ice cream and it was terrible whipped cream tasted very old. I went through “drive through” thinking I’d get “to go” containers it melted and ran over the top all over my car seat before I got home. Just ridiculous!
I dont really understand the serving process here. When we walked in they were busy but we were helped right away. Then 15 minutes later my husband got his blizzard and then 6 more people who just walked up were served. Then I received mine, after my husband was completely finished with his. Orders should be served in the order they are taken. A smores blizzard isnt complicated. It seems if you dont stand at the counter and stare at the staff you dont get served promptly. Lesson learned.
My wife went to the drive thru to order a sandwich. She heard they had a cheese steak she wanted to try. When she asked the guy on the other end of the microphone if they had the sandwich his reply was Look at the sign fool! She said excuse me and his reply was we only have the food you see on the sign. I called and asked to speak with a manager and the guy told me that the manager was off today and that he was the shift supervisor... Really... this is how a supervisor speaks to guests? Never Again! The only reason I am giving it one star is that there are no negative stars. Worst customer experience ever.
2 gentleman working give poor service, 1 kid is new, so I can cut him a little slack, we ordered 4 chili dogs and 2 drinks , took 35 minutes we were the only ones here , the 4 chili dogs the new kid brought to us had no hot dogs and he didnt know how to make a orange Julius, so I had to change my order. The other kid gave my wife lip , when she asked for her money back! Very poor service!
